Shopify cart and checkout
Cash Cow represents each charge as a regular Shopify cart line. Optional add-ons and tips are selected in the cart. Automatic surcharges can be added when a merchant’s disclosed conditions are met and are verified through Shopify before purchase. Cash Cow does not replace Shopify checkout or Shopify’s own tipping tools.
Merchant responsibility
The merchant is responsible for accurate buyer-facing copy, pricing, disclosure, consent, tax and legal requirements, theme installation, and testing before activation. A merchant must not use Cash Cow to conceal a charge, mislabel an optional service as mandatory, or misrepresent how the charge is applied.
Media and generated images
The merchant owns or has permission to use uploaded media and prompts submitted for generation. Smart suggestions may save generated previews to the merchant’s Shopify Files, but never puts an image or charge on the storefront automatically. The merchant must review the suggested copy, rule, image, and alt text before creating and activating a charge.
Availability
Cash Cow is a hosted service and may depend on Shopify, your theme, and our secure connection to the store. We may pause a feature to protect store integrity or address an incident.
